The water level is well down at the moment so we would be putting our boxes on the lake bed below platform level, the "in form" areas to draw were either an end peg or peg 12/13. I drew peg 20 which looked OK with a long feeder chuck to the now exposed island.
I set up a 13' feeder for the long chuck with a method feeder and a shorter feeder rod for fishing over loose fed pellets at around 30 metres, this was also somewhere to try the pellet waggler.
It was a very slow first few hours for most including me, 1 Bream and 2 small carp on the feeder. With about an hour and a half to go I managed 2 carp on the waggler but then no more bites on this. I switched to feeder over the waggler line for the last hour but only managed 1 more carp.
My 5 Carp and a small Bream went 22lb 4oz which was 11th of the 20 fishing.
